Tom Servais is known as a versatile surf photographer from Dana Point, California,Popular for his work in the South Pacific.
He has captured some of modern surfing’s most memorable moments. Remember Cory’s hell pit at Teahupoo? Curren’s cutback, or Conan’s monster tow-in at Cloudbreak? Starting his career in the darkroom at SURFER magazine in 1977, Tom was mentored by the masters Art Brewer and Jeff Divine. Twenty-five years and countless cover shots later Servais has left the office behind and has been traveling non-stop since 1998 as one of SURFER’s top lensmen.
